This in reference with my previous mail to Open ODBC Table in Mapinfo.
Now the problem i face is that the table when opened in mapinfo,
display a msg that the table is read-only, even though i have unselected
the read-only option in the Step 4 of Open ODBC Table wizard. I want to
Clayton L. Harry came up with the solution, thanks a lot:
Select "MapInfo Table" (*.tab) in the Files Type tab in Explorer. Then edit
the Open Action and select "Use DDE" insert: Open Table "%1" View Automatic,
MapInfo, -blank-, System. Then everything works as intended.

Have you tried:
Save table as - giving it a different name and saving
it as a mapinfo table? Then open the named mapinfo
table - table maintenance - select option mapable and
try to geocode.
