When you get this message, check in Windows Task Manager (or equivalent)if the Performance is not in 100%. Most of the times when this happens the query is running and, like Denis said, later you will get your job done. If performance is near 0%... well, there something is wrong! BestRegards

Hi Ken, I have also experienced this problem. MapInfo has a limit of 13 tables open with unsaved changes. This has something to do with a limit that they put on the the number of open file handles. If you commit some tables the problem will go away (until you reach the limit again). Possibly

Hello Chris, I'd bet my last pound that your data is from a grid or matrix - elevations or similar? If this is the case, consider using grids to store the data. Not only do queries fail with large record counts, but managing and visualising so much data will be slow and difficult. Regards,
