If I'm not mistaken I think the 64bit instruction set AMD developed
was adopted by Intel so this would make sense.

The machine running the buildbot adutko-centos-amd64 experienced a
hardware failure last night around 1AM EST (UTC 0600). I believe it is
the motherboard and due to funding constraints I am not certain when
it will be brought back online. I will make an attempt to migrate the
buildbot when I have
Should be clean now. I also restarted the buildbot after cleaning.

Sorry about adutko-centos5-amd64 being down. I've not finished
changes to my monitoring script to tell me when a builder is offline.
I'll try to get that done soon and send it to the list when I've
updated it to work with the new buildbot status page format.
My notification script was going haywire and then I realized you were
doing the upgrade. :-) Nice new interface! Good stuff.

Sorry for the delayed notice but adutko-centos5-amd64 will probably be
offline until Wednesday (11/24/10) awaiting a part replacement.

Why?
When I think of a Butler I think of someone who monitors various aspects of
a household/estate, stashes that information and uses it to improve service.
Good idea. Indeed, it's important.
And to know if it's SSD or not.
Last night I was also thinking about network configuration.
So, Phone Home or MySQL feedback daemon or better name wanted

Maybe call it Butler ??? Just a thought...
Not unlike the Uptimes Project or Debian Popularity Contest.
Opt-in only with an easy disable option after opting in... correct?

Is the adutko-ultrasparc3 buildbot too slow? would it be missed?

Because of this, you need to do some changes on your buildbot hosts.
These are the slaves mariadb-brs and adutko-ultrasparc3.
(The slave adutko-centos5-amd64 does not need any changes, as it is not
using
bzr for the build).
Since I migrated the adutko-centos5-amd64 VM from Linode to a
These are the slaves mariadb-brs and adutko-ultrasparc3.
Both are running test builds of successful past builds to check
functionality of the upgrades.
1. make sure you are using at least bzr 1.16 (or better 2.x). If the bzr on
either slave is older, then you need to upgrade it.

All of the buildbots I administrate should now be back online

your patience.

Using all of the tools provided by one vendor can be a great thing but not
if the vendor's existence is tenuous. If that happens, how easy would it
be to migrate data away from the vendor and would we even have that option?
And the data is the important part... I think it's a good idea, but I am
just trying to bring up a counterpoint that might not have been discussed.

Do you have a matrix of distros/platforms you'd like to see added to the
