This was my valentine's day present today.
I hope the bandwidth amuses more than it annoys...

This is the crontab we use, which he described:
- we use bash
- the file config/bash_env has most of what is usually in .bashrc;
for cron we source it, for shell we source it in .bashrc

Thanks, and I have had success with various packaged versions,
but I want to be able to update and compile the svn version
at will, just like I can under linux.
Hello OSX SVN MPL users
I am following the instructions on
http://ipython.scipy.org/moin/Py4Science/InstallationOSX
and ran into some trouble.
The computer is a 13" intel macbook,
OSX 10.5.2 installed fresh in December 2007
Everything went reasonably well until I got to matplotlib.
I ran into
Hello all
My specific question is this:
Suppose I have a figure, with an axes object, and an XY plot:
#---
import matplotlib
import pylab as P
t = P.arange(0.0,1.0,0.02)
x = P.sin(2*P.pi*t)
y = P.exp(-t*3.)*P.cos(3*P.pi*t)
ff = P.Figure(figsize=(5,4), dpi=100)
ss = P.subplot(222)
pp = ss.p
Darned slow email tool; chose the wrong message
Slow brain in checking actual "send to" address
My apologies.
