At the MIA, we recently went live with Siriusware. Feel free to contact me
off-list if you'd like to learn more about our choice and roll-out.

Re: [MCN-L] What Ticketing system does your museum use or plan to deploy?

2014-12-12 Thread Deirdre Taylor-Wright
The Ontario Science Centre has used Siriusware for the past 5 years and
overall we're really happy with it.

Every system will have its own quirks / limitations, but Siriusware does
well for us especially for:

- transaction speed at our front desks
- reporting (using MS Reporting Services and our own custom built reports)
- and the fact that there are *NO* per ticket transaction fees to be paid
to the vendor!! :-)

Cheers, Deirdre.

In 2012, we went from TM VISTA to Blackbaud's Altru system. Altru allowed
us to consolidate VISTA's POS, along with Raiser's Edge's CRM, and our
CiviCRM online ticketing systems, all in one product.

Hi Doron

SFMOMA has also gone with Tessitura for ticketing. We're more than a year from
opening, so I can't give you much insight into the onsite/online experience yet.

Good luck with the search.
