We've been in contact with the registrar. Primarily because we thought if the
price was right we would register one just to make sure no one else registered
it. We've been told by the registrar the name we wanted is not available, yet.
We have yet to get any pricing details.

time. The general public only really has .com engrained in their consciousness,
with .org, .net, .edu, and .gov barely being used/recognized. I see this as

I'm curious to hear from other museums who are using, or are considering, the
new .ART domain, now that early registration "exclusive to members of the art
world" is open. I've looked at the list of "early adopters" and it doesn't
seem as if any US museums are actively using .ART right now.
