The bigger the file size (70MB - 250MB is not uncommon) the better. In
other words, the bigger the file the more information on the object is
captured. Also, focus on one master format, i.e. TIFF is a very common
format in this regard (do not compress the files) and if you apply color
details on what you'd expect from this system would help me give you
a specific recommendation.

Probably our biggest issues have to do with receiving orders, assigning them to
staff, tracking status, and then closing out the jobs.
Any suggestions? The main name that pops to mind was The Workhorse Group, and
their website seems to be down (are they out of business?).

Hi Alan,
With *much* respect to Bruce as an imaging expert of the highest order, I
disagree with his analysis - at least insofar as sweeping statements go. I
think I did qualify my own comments by saying that they certainly don't apply
to all cases, and I do see much use for archiving RAW, and

implies that Aperture somehow creates a digital master file that is
different from the raw file that is downloaded.

Robert,
I'm not 100% familiar with Insight and how it's being used; if it's as a
presentation/access system (how I've always regarded it) then sRGB is certainly
appropriate and consistent with section 6a of the UPDIG guidelines.
If it's being used as a storage device for masters, then I would
