You can see that the first three criteria are "positive" -- that is,
answering yes to the questions means they are more likely candidates for
digitization. The last two are "negative" -- answering no would increase
their priority level.

Scott, I'm really glad your museum (and others) has decided to comment and
is encouraging staff to do the same for this important issue. I appreciate
the straightforward language and information in your email, too -- thanks
for sharing!

Hello, MCNers...
I was wondering if we had among our members anyone from zoos or aquariums?
I am looking for people to present with me at a public garden conference
(APGA) next year and would love a fresh perspective from outside of the
strictly botanic-garden community. Any leads would be greatl
othing.

wow, these are all terrific suggestions!
hadn't heard HIPPO or PICNIC before, but I'm totally adding them to my
lexicon.
And "backronym" is awesome in so many ways -- including the way Morgan used
it as a verb. Swt!

Hi, all...
I'm trying to compile a list of tech-related acronyms that might be
important for museum staff to know and understand -- or at the very least,
recognize. Right now, I'm just gathering EVERYthing I can think of -- file
extensions (PDF, JPG), emerging technologies (BLE, NFC), web-related

Hello, all...
I was wondering if any of you use (or have attempted to use) Google+ as a
collaboration tool within your institution. If you have, are there any
barriers that you encountered with the software itself? Any surprises
(pleasant or otherwise)? How well did your team members adapt to it
