The defrost mode does not force the fan on (this one, now - it should though). If it's not ready to turn on, nothing I do has any effect. Once it starts, it runs just fine. I've not had the full heat experience since that one time (knocking on wood). Relays? Brushes? How do you get the fan motor

I am still having trouble finding my color. Is the first number on the bottom line of the ID plate the color code for a 79 240D? That number is 580-can't find that on these or any paint charts. How do I access/where do I get an EPC? I am actually more interested in decoding the carpet color -have

That doesn't look like the Lister diesels I have been looking at. They are way cool, operate without glow plugs, but usually have a heavy fly wheel (don't see one in the picture). To start you prop open the valves, get the wheel turning, when you got fuel you un-prop the valves. Operate
