Autozone and/or Advance Auto has two sizes of flex pipe in (4 ft?) lengths.
Providing one will fit, you may be able to clamp or double clamp it in place
after cutting it to the proper length. I've used it on U.S. cars and found
that it's fairly long lasting.

The rear suspension is not difficult, but you do have to put the car up
on stands (the rear wheels will drop when you open the lines) to change
out the spheres. They are under the panel between the rear and third
seats, look for a couple hidden screws in the carpet.

This TD is a sorting out car. SWMBA does want a more together
version of the car, but I know it too will have issues that need
addressing even if it looks much better. All the little niggling
things like switches and stuff on either TD will need attention
