Remove the hose from the air cleaner at the intake and aim a LIT
propane hand torch into the intake as you crank after glowing.
Unburned propane will explode the engine (literally blow the valve
cover and oil pan off), but a LIT torch will supply enough extra heat
to get it to fire off.
Verify that you do not have leaks in the suction side fuel lines -- a
bad line here will fill the IP with foam, and you won't get it
started. This happens suddenly, usually.

Yes. 3/41 ton trucks usually have a ten ply tire. That is a load range E.
Max air pressure is 80 psi. Most car tires are four ply with a maximum
pressure of 44psi. 80psi would be very scary in a passenger tire, both in
handling and risk of explosion due to overpressurization.

Yes I do...just did a bunch of cooling system work on it. Still runs like

I checked the glow plugs etc and they appeared to be ok - the
expansion wire glowed orange too.
I've never seen the toasters glow. If they are, perhaps the plugs
are shorted? Do you get the 1V drop across the two terminals

I am wondering now if

I'm in a real pickle with an engine issue at work, and I can't get any help on
this side of the pond.
I have a Mitsubishi 1.5L industrial gas(oline) engine that is used on a

If it smokes it is getting some fuel.
I have seen mufflers plug up where car will not get enough air to run. Also

For a diesel you need fuel, air, compression, and sequence to start. You are

for the next 3 years to see if I want to keep it or not after the
warranty expires!

Can you post pictures of the coil? Often the same part is used on different

Also will the new distributor physically fit? If so hook it up with an

Let me check I junked a car awhile back but not sure if I saved the relay.

I'll post some pictures tomorrow. For now you can look up the automotive
version on buyasianparts.com using the part number DG22.
The coils are different in the means they use for connection. The automotive
version has different (and more) connectors.
The body casting is identical, but the
