Be sure not to scratch or cut the hose fitting on the thermostat housing or
block. A small scratch from a razor knife used to cut the old hose off can
cause a leak.
Don't ask me how I know..

I found the catch.
Installation is $19.99 per tire.
That's a local variable.
I paid $80 to have four tires mounted, RoadForce balanced, and installed
this past Saturday. I know of other places that use lesser balancing
machines and only charge $15 per tire.
Do they rook you for a disposal fee?

My tires rotate very nicely, too, but I never let 'em spin, which is
wasteful and reckless. ;)

There are two sources of stall torque I can think of within
the AT: 1) The TC's stator is just that: static, so if the
TC's vanes are dragging on it that'd do it. 2) The internal

The whole theory of the car is that it will be entered in the 24 hours of
LeMons race next year. My budget is limited by their rules that getting it
running and purchase price can not exceed $500. I am scouring Freecycle and
the freebie section of CL for all I can repurpose to get it going.
So, the TC is toast in your description. That sort of makes sense. Still
would need to remove the trans to install a fresh TC.

That is easy. When you pull the parts and pedals, take out the short
piece of tubing and the hose. Plumbing done. The master cyl comes

Local tranny from PnP is in the $99 range. I am assuming any trans from the
