I used both, and some Yuro flavors also. Dad uses Kodachrome almost
exclusively, but I know he got one roll of Ektachrome when that was
all that was available in some store.
I liked the Ektachrome for the higher ASA speeds.

About a month ago, I bought a reconditioned (guaranteed for a
year) Nikon
LS-2000 on eBay; that Nikon scanner is OUTSTANDING
Compared to a modern engine, the M117 in Frosch is a slug. Could be
transmission related. Either way, the car has had a bit of minor work since my
purchase and she is running much better. Finally got close to 15mpg highway on
my last long drive. Better than the 10mpg over the past four years
I have owned one for 38 years. It has always worked dependably. Recently
broke the internal anvil while hammering lug nuts off a Semi with it.. [1/2
inch impact.. needed to use the 1 inch]..
Replacement parts.. with new seals and bearings, full overhaul.. cost
$58.00.
3 days to get parts shipped
Vapor lock?
Look for a small leak in the injector ring or injector hoses. I don't
remember much of an issue with that otherwise, but a slow leak there
can let all the gasoline leak out of the ring as it boils.
Leaks are a very common issue up there, and if you have a good sized
one you c
Scan them if you can, they fade in the dark and really go fast in the
light.
Keep them dry, as cool as possible (dessicated frozen is best) and
hope someone cares about them when you are gone.

From what I gather, the M117 usually needs a valve job around 250k
miles, and in many cases a total rebuild around the 500k mark when the
rings go -- but only in California, where people actually put that
kind of mileage on a 450SL. Most other parts of the world they rust
away or don't get

had a darkroom set up in the back room of our shop. I did it mainly with IR
Ektachrome, as it caused the developer to expire rather quickly so the
commercial processors wouldn’t process it. I knew a guy who reloaded

the blue/yellow balance in Kodak films (and for fun, the green/

process the two on the same machine, when it was right for one the

So far the upgrade to 10.6 on the macbook 1,1 is working. Opera and
Firefox run for places that don't like safari. on 10.6. CHrome won't
run on the core2 machines, a bacward step into the winders world of
32 bit machines from the G4 and g5.
