Typically there is a knock sensor on the engine, and ignition timing is retarded when you get knock, may also richen the fuel. The difference can be 10% or more, depending on driving conditions and fuel, but usually it's cheaper to use premium. Peter ___

Through a convoluted combination of diff swap and home renovation, keys went missing with the spare set locked inside the car. Now it needs to move out of the garage for the drywall guys. Which is the preferred window to break? Other ideas? Could tow it out and hope to find keys I suppose.
