The OM617 had been sitting on the hoist, blocking my garage door for the past
week. I had tried to use a garbage harbour fright dolly, but it just shattered
when the engine was lowered on to it.
I made my own out of a few scrap 2x14 and some 2x6. HF got the trashed dolly
and I got some spare
SWMBO. What do ya need to know?

There's such a thing as a hill (I forget, is this a W124 2.5?) that you can't

As for having to manually down shift. Doesn't the transmission do

Any ideas?

My W210 (98 E300 D) comes on and it'll stay on for a couple of days and then it
goes out for a couple of days. When the light is out, the car runs as normal.
Good performance everything feels normal. When the check engine light is on, it
feels like the turbo is not working. And not only that, I
I had the same symptoms in my '83 300TD - loss of power going uphill.

I'd love to pick up a Cayman some day, those are truly gorgeous. Years ago
I knew a fellow who picked up an early Boxster very cheap because it had
several nearly invisible paint flaws the drove the perfectionist original
owner nuts. They were only visible in bright sunlight, but totally ruined
OK so add $800 to transport back to the east coast and double your money.
