I'd caution against that. 2 planetary axles and lots of old hydraulic hoses and lines, like the cat loader. When you have to rebuild a planetary hub, you may decide just to let it rot in the back 40. That's still a lot of money to throw away. The JDs mentioned don't have planetarys.

I would recommend an older model with a pre-tier IV engine (not common rail). The older engine is just like a 300D but with a much simplified IP. Your Deere probably has the proprietary loader interface so your old loader attachments won't work on other brands. So look for a new loader with
