Rich,
I sent you some PDF manuals off list. Perhaps they will help, too.

What's the difference between an expansion valve that is Tonnage = 2.0 and
Superheat = 5.5, vs expansion valve with Tonnage = 1.5 and Superheat = 11?
According to what I've read, MB did not require the expansion valve to be
changed when converting from R12 to R134A because the pressure curves are

Maybe not while it happens - but it would be pretty hard to drive
in or out without

First thing I'd do is unplug the electrical connector and see if it is full of
ATF.
If so, I'd get out the brakekleen spray and forget about the diagnosis that
came with the car when you bought it.
If not, then I'd proceed to try to test the oil pump diagnosis, with the idea
that it may well

How about a sign that says "The owner of this property is armed and
prepared to defend with deadly force" and a big picture of your cat.

The cams don't suck too much power. The ones I have use a max 32GB
card, which I think is good for about 8hr at 1080P. Not sure how one
could use say a SSD which should be low power draw, would probably need
some kind of interface.
You can also buy a 360deg camera.
Try to get it for $5K, then sped $1k to tidy up the engine bay and auction
it on BAT. Target price is about $12,500.

I have been thinking of the same system.
4 cameras, 1 faced front,120 degree view, 1 faced back, 120 degree view, 1
each side, mounted at the upper rear side of the "B" pillar facing to
inside of car, across to the outside, so left midship cam covers interior

I have four unused Android phones, often thought about making dash cams of
them, but when running camera software (like Open Camera) they run hot in the
house, would probably overheat and shut down in a parked car. It is interesting
to set them for motion activation and see what the dog does

I would like a system that had continuous recording with at least 24 hours
of recorded video capacity. No sensors needed, just nice video, so I can
review at my leisure and send to authorities as needed. Ideally the video
is stored onto a flash memory device, a mini SD card would work well.
The cost of such a system might exceed the cost of repair of the bumper,
although I would take great satisfaction in getting the miscreant to pay
for repairs.
I've got a spare front bumper waiting to be installed on my cabriolet, so I
can scavenge the impact strip from the old bumper that is

If you do all the components at once, you get a 4 season's warranty on
everything also.
My system is a bit under cool at the moment. Might have to try the camping
fuel and propane. All the components are new.
