I put the floor jack under the diff, and then you can put the stands
under the pads. For the front, I put the jack carefully under the front

I also did that when I replaced the half axle on The White Whale. First time
time tried that, worked very well. The front outboard mount is inside of the
front of the rear wheel. Flat surface and round.

What hardware are you running it on?
I mistakenly thought that new hardware meant to be NAS would run a long
time. In reading reviews, it w=seems that too many are finding that the
lower end Synology, QNAP, and WD NAS boxes are lasting just about three
months!

I put the jack stands under the subframe mounts when working on the rear
suspension.Nice flat spot, very unlikely to slip and out of the way for any
work.

Take it apart and remove the brushes. Go to your local Ace Hardware and look
for the aisle with their “majik drawers”. They have a majik drawer that has
small motor brushes of all types and sizes. If they're a little big file them
down to fit.
It’s worked for me on a number of blower motors.
I only do CL deals in the parking lot of the local sheriff’s department. They
promote it as a safe place, since they’re all around and it’s got loads of CCTV
cameras, too. When you get there you can walk in and tell the desk sergeant
why you’re there and they’ll keep an eye on things.

put the jack stands under the rubber pads that are under the factory jack
holes. I'd recommend putting both jack stands in place so you don't put a

I just ended up high bidder at $200 on a 80 300SD. It’s listed as a donation
vehicle and with the crappy photos looks to be pretty clean and rust free. No
mention of if it runs or not. The strange thing is there were 2 80 300SD’s
listed, this one was pure sale, the other looked like it could be

of the rear wheels, put your stands under there. I have a bunch of blg
wood blocks too to stack under the frame which gives me a good feeling.
