I believe the issue is that the radio is a "Sirius" radio, prior to the
merger of the Sirius and XM services.
I don't remember all the details, but in early 2019 I was interested in
activating the radio because we were planning a long trip and I thought
it would be nice to not have to find new

Android Auto and Apple Car Play came out Spring/Summer of 2015, so no
car before model year 2016 had either of them when new. My 2016 Cruze
does an acceptable job with both, at least for running maps. For phone
calls, it actually works better to unplug the phone and use the car as a
bluetooth
You don’t mean she just wants a display. You could get that in the 210. You
mean she wants something like apple car play that will link up with her phone.
In that case it’s probably going to be something around 2017 or newer.
