As far as I know the lifetime warranty was for Craftsman hand tools only.
Power tools, and probably battery chargers would only have a limited time
warranty (probably 1 or 2 years).

I called our local Sears yesterday to get a battery charger & they said

my Sears one lastsed for 30 years. the one I have now is from Tractor
Supply & is a free replacement for the first one I got from them & it STB.

You may recall a month or 2 ago I had an error for clutch coil on the 99 e300,
coil was bad. I pulled one off a parts compressor and spent a good while
swapping it out with the compressor in the car. Has been working fine since.
Today it was cooling then noticed it wasn’t. Then later it went

IIRC the secret is to get the flare nuts started (by hand) before you mount the

I have the SL600 in sick bay for various work. It's up on blocks and
jackstands with the wheels dangling.
I decided yesterday to swap out the rear accumulators for the hydraulic
suspension. Watched some utuber vids and read some posts in BW, didn't
look too hard. I started about 11A
Well under door lights (courtesy lights) work fine.
