why would it be different for a DI engine? I've heard that using ether can cause damage to the prechambers because it's more detination they can handle. The injection to each cylinder is metered, but with the ether, it's not. I think a HUGE part to my starting problems with this engine is th

I always thought that sticking any type of aerosol starting fluid was bad news for the MB engines. I kept hearing to never throw starting fluid or ether into the OM engines, so I extrapolated this to WD-40. Come on, I don't use fuels other than #2 and a little motor oil now and again. I've a
