There is nothing unique about the headlight bulbs. I'm surprised that you couldn't find what you needed in the garlic capital of the world. (Yum!) Get high wattage bulbs and some relays from Rusty and do it right. AS for your groaning suspension, it's due to the rubber parts aging. There really

My 1981 240D just lost a low beam. Could not find replacement at two parts stores (Gilroy, Ca). Any suggestion as to where to look, and which one I should get? (halogen, tungsten? etc?) I just want long life expectancy and the best price. I'll do a web search after posting this. As to the sus
