Yeah! I was trying to find the email archives when he bought it so I
could look for the predictions. My archives seem to be gone. Postbox
does not do archives as well/easily as Eudora did.
Somebody needs to find the predictions to tell us who won!

I think a lot of it has to do with the volume of auctions BaT does now. When
there were maybe 15-20/day people spent more time going through all of them out
of general interest, where now with 50/day you pretty well just focus on the
stuff you care about and ignore the rest.

Thanks, Max! I hope it does well. It’s in the middle of the auction period, so
things tend to slow down a bit. That and with BaT running 50 some odd auctions
a day now it takes some of the attention off all of the auctions, I think.

*The value of these cars is high enough that everyone just throws new
interior in them for cheap (only $6-10k!), steam cleans everything, and
throws them up for sale for huge mark up. I'm not saying thats the case
with this car, but it could be, which turned off buyers.*

The door gap is the same on both sides, but it does appear to be too big.

From my experience with moving sheet metal, the pucker in the floor from
poor lift use, likely distorted the rocker, which could be the cause for
the door gap issue.
As Jamie stated... not an easy fix. in most cases, would require surgical
removal of the floor, rocker and attaching parts, with
I only looked on my phone, so I didn't look took carefully at the door gap.
I think when you see damage to the floor, it brings up questions about what
else is messed up or hiding. Plus, its difficult to fix in a cab due to
the two layers of floor in them.
The value of these cars is high enough
How much would the value of a quarter million dollar car go down, just from the
vandalism done to the floor?
Mitch.

That hose hanging down from the front of the car is just the radiator
overflow. It’s sloppy but easy to trim. The rest of the car looks decent,
if a bit over restored in some ways, and missing big details in others.
Like the two giant creases in the floor from someone raising the car on a

Wow, $171K and climbing.
That first pic just seems off to me. There's a couple things hanging under
the front bumper that look sloppy and unkempt, and what is going on with
the large gap between the door and the door sill? That gap also doesn't
look very neat and I'm NOT an expert by any means,
Yee haw
