The 944 was (is) an awesome sports car - but it didn't look like a Porsche which to many people means a 911. If the 944 has been maintained properly it's a great investment - and it has a great A/C which the 911 struggled with until the 90s. I've often considered one so I'd have a Porsche

Good idea too is to join a list if you know the model you'll looking for. Like any car, they all have their own things to watch for. One the whole, great cars, and even better at what they are currently going for. As Larry said, check service records, especially as the cars are so reasonable
