'85 190D 2.2l 5spd manual. Same car I've had for 2+ years...
43mpg top, 26mpg low but that was with fuel spewing everywhere...

Manual tranny's have oil too and it won't do much harm to change it
periodically.

If ya love your car don't use armorall, get a better quality waterless
wash product.
And a very good quality interior cleaner/detailer, cheap ones will ruin
the plastic.
