Sounds like it is normal for OM606 to me. Operating very well after 20 years at that. Techron or SeaFoam in the tank, as well as the really fun spray seafoam for hosing down the intake. Gets the backside of the intake valves cleaner. clay I have no pronouns please do not refer to me. >

The NA E300D would roll coal at full throttle stomp. Not continuously, but for a few moments. Is this on a hot engine? I was able to get deep black a few hours in on long drives. Best solution was B5 to help dissolve the gunk built up and Italian tunes to blast carbon out. Cleaned up

So I had posted before about my 99 606 seems to smoke faintly at idle and black smoke at full throttle.  It really that grey/white diesel smoke at idle.  I am wondering if the IP timing is off a bit and plan to check it.  At least that is what I thought when I was thinking it was black smoke
