My locksmith loves when people use graphite or wd-40. Lots of money in cleaning that gunk out. Their lube of choice is Tri-Flow and lots of it. Saturate the lock until you have it oozing out and washing away all the detritus in the lock is what I was told should be done. That has been good

Does anyone know if Mercedes ever made a transmission with a lock up torque converter that will bolt up to a 117 engine in a W126? A friend of mine asked what could be done to a W126 to get better fuel mileage, so my first thoughts were lock up converter and an electric fan, remove fan clutch.
