[MBZ] More trans fluid etc

Honda recommends their own brand of fluid. Anyone have opinions on whether that is necessary or advisable? What is special about it? Also with anti-freeze. I think the new ones run the dex-cool type stuff. I note that the Zerex that folks on here recommend for MB is not approved for Honda based
