in my 2005 E320.

Which is why they came up with Carplay and Android Auto about five years ago.
I tried the AA thing with an inactive phone, made up a burner Goolag account,
downloaded a bunch of offline maps, and...
AA wouldn't let me type in an address, you're supposed to talk to it.
But you can't talk to it
Which is why all that crap should be an easily replaceable ifon or
samssinging fon.

The update isn’t a big deal. I’ve got it on a CD that you load up and let it do
it’s voodoo. I can mail you a copy if you want, drop me a note off list if you
do.

looks to have bootlegs for $9 but it needs some kind of firmware update
too. Does not list the 05 ML as a compatible

It should only come up if you choose the NAV function as far as I know.
As I mentioned previously, the lack of updates renders it pretty useless, more
of a novelty than anything else. There a major freeway that didn’t exist some
years back that I now use for my commute. When I drove it in the
Yes & somehow i turned off that request on my 2005 w211 as i don't have the
disks.

Not to mention I think this model’s NAV software hasn’t been updated in some
years, so you could be driving where it doesn’t show any roads. My former S430
did that because the NAV data was so out of date.

The nav system on this ML (that won't start) is asking me to insert the
DVD which I suppose has all the nav system data on it. Anyone have one
of these?
