Well, these things are not light by any stretch. The iMac is feather weight in comparison. I think there is a bunch of armor in the body that acts as shielding for use in computer labs that the home version iMacs did not have. Nice to get the speed bump and a burner for that price. Dude lef

Was at the Apple store with oldest boy helping him look at iPods. Opened the door for some poor fellow loaded down with an eMac. He wanted to let them recycle the thing and order a new one since this was broken. They told him no luck getting it recycled there, but they will take his order.
