I was at a friend's warehouse/lounge yesterday.
He showed me his newest toy, a TV projector. On one side of the TV room,
he's got two sofas. On the other side, a large (approx 15' wide) movie screen.
Turn on the projector, turn on the DVD player, turn on the sound system,
and enjoy. I bet the

OK, so my 60 big screen has been giving me trouble lately. I bought it in '99
and its not high def, so probably time to upgrade anyway. I will probably
still get this one fixed and use it in my office or something. So whats the
story with these things these days? Which is the best. Best
I like the LCD's. They can be used as computer monitors. 1920x1080 in
a 46 lets me work with the thing 3' from my face without needing
bifocals. The HDtv part is nice too. Use Windows Media Center (XP) or
Vista and you have a HD recorder on your PC. Let's you record weekly

a replacement if it does break will be that much cheaper (or to repair).

Well you will have to have a sat box for each tv, otherwise they will be

About
We're very happy with our front-projection Sony we got
at Costco. 80 screen. Not particularly bright, so it's
for our darkened media room in the basement, but we only
wanted it for 'movie night' anyway. Has nice color, unlike
some projectors I've seen. 720p, but with HDMI inputs.

Best picture is usually CRT, but limited to under 37 inches.
Projection screens have washed out colors and limited field of vision
issues.
LCD, Plasma and OLED have a bunch of issues depending on what is the
weakness you are willing to overlook. All are fine as long as you
