Those are NOT ladybugs. Those are Asian Beetles. Ladybugs are
orange, don't bite, and don't stink. Asian beetles are more yellow,
stink, and bite. They are especially a problem with wine
grapes. They also eat holes in apples and other fruit.

One day, crawling along the ceiling of my house, will be hundreds of them.
They just appear all the sudden, then a day or 2 later, you dont see them
again. I have no idea where they are coming from

IIRC, they feed primarily on aphids. One year we saw entire boulders
covered with them on top of Mt. Scott (Wichita Mountain range - SW
OK). I suspect they are migrating --
