Hope it's warm where you are. In the low 80s here today. Had to turn on the AC
yesterday.

So, where are you? It would be a bit cold to work without heat here

Currently minus 11 with NW winds at 37 kph.
Northwest Indiana. About 30 miles Southeast of Chicago, IL. Land of Lincoln

True that.
From what I have been reading the latest alpha version of ICS is very stable
and is pretty much working as planned. Only significant issue is related to
the camera, and that's because the hardware has no open source or readily
available drives from the vendor, or so the notes say.

klatta klatta klatta! Haven't picked up the 240D yet. We have the cash for
the car and a new battery if needed, so we're prepared for tomorrow. If it
starts and can be driven home, that will be a bonus!!

Good for you for walking! I'm trying to get me and the Quincey Doodle guide
dog out more, a bit easier around here as it's above freezing. It would be
good for both of us to shed a few pounds and, for me, to get the blood
pressure down as well.

Congrats! I hope it starts and makes the trip home.
If it doesn't make it, we can always walk since it's a bit over a mile away
from us. I'm thinking good thoughts. It seems to have been treated pretty
well for being 35 years old. There isn't any dampness/mildew smell inside,
most likely due to having no sunroof (10 points for Wilton!).
I am off Thursday, Friday and Saturday every week. If you want a ride to Ohare

Sounds awesome, but then I'd have a car stranded in Indiana.
I think I'll just go to LAN and take the flight with the too many connections.
So I was doing some fixup on the boy's 84SD, was going to fix the LR
window which has never worked since we got the car 4 yr ago. So I take
it apart, and look at it, and go, huh? no wonder it doesn't work, it
does not have a motor or regulator in it. Now the boy says he did not
take it apart

Hope you're back on the road soon. Spent the moring out in a friends
Boxster, in very hot and humid weather.
The old SC seems to be running well, but needs a few small trim bits
installed. Some I have waiting on the shelf, others I'm gathering. I even
