I don't know why all of you wimps can't just use an old nail and a
rock to pound it with. Works to fix bike chains at the side of the
road, after all. ;)

I've used a 6ish inch length of insulated copper telephone wire to fix a
broken bike chain, was lucky one of the junction boxes side of the road had
a scrap on the ground next to it. :)
