Hopefully you get a seal that has not aged on the shelve for the last 20 years. I got a hood pad that fell apart within a month. On Tue, Jul 30, 2013 at 4:32 AM, Ralph Robertson rare...@gmail.com wrote: New seal will be ordered right away, It's worth it. Thanks . Ralph On Mon, Jul 29,

checked trunk seal, appeared good, however it was easily removed, and pulled out of groove without any difficulty, so it would seem that it is not sealed good enough for water. Wondering if I have to remove old glue on the rubber before applying a coat of the flowable silicon sealant, and if so,

I have an '87 300SDL that has a peculiar leak in the trunk area. When the car is on a grade, with the trunk on the downhill and it rains hard, the trunk get wet. However, if it is on the grade with the trunk on the uphill, no water gets in regardless of how hard it rains. Does this sound
