Having another record breaking warm day in Seattle. S430 said it was 17c
outside before noon. My garden is doing things it should not be until March.

Very similar record breaking February heat here in Hillsboro, OR. Spring
flowers are popping up everywhere! I took my RC trucks to the local schoolyard
field where it wasn’t even wet enough to get them muddy. No need for the
compressed air treatment and wipe down.

You need some Hakkapelitas for your scooter!

Mighty quiet here in Goldsboro, NC, this morning; 27F, quarter inch of ice with
maybe an inch or so of snow and sleet on top. Outside steps look mighty
dangerous; haven't tried 'em yet to get paper; may wait for 37F this afternoon
to get it.
3F in Thurs night forecast

And what is that? BTW, scooter is stashed in trunk of the MB, where it sleeps
til I need it for shopping or longer trips from the car where walker is not
suitable.

I'd wait for it to melt. I'm of an age now that I think about the
consequences of falling.
And I'm taking another day off work -- got bronchitis that was
morphing into pneumonia last week, and while I feel pretty good while
sitting down, I sweat like crazy if I try to do much of anything,
wanted it done...

You've got 45°?
We peaked at 31° on Saturday.
5° at 8am,
It got down to 3F here this AM. I didn't get out until it was up to 7F
though. The TDI started with maybe one more revolution than normal - I'm
impressed. The rep-glow lasted maybe five seconds.
We in New Mexico are not being left out of the cold; it's supposed to get
down to 3 deg.F.

It was 50F here in RI today. Might be single digits by morning.

My 500,000 mile SDL almost started at 20 below.
I forgot to plug it in. I thought I had done
that Saturday when I got home. Dino oil.
Started after 2.5 hours on the heater, but fuel
was not too swift, although the station said it
was good to 10 below. Manaña may be better.

Curt,
How are things in your part of Massachusetts? I heard that Boxton got 22
of snow. I also heard that the whole area is going to get very cold.
We in New Mexico are not being left out of the cold; it's supposed to get
down to 3 deg.F. tonight. We would, however, like to get some of the
snow.
Down to 64F tonight.
Tomorrow night it's supposed to get down to 32F (b!) and the high on
Tuesday is only going to be 48F.
Guess I'll have to break out some long sleeves
