My suggestion is as follows, pull vehicle to top of large hill ending in abrupt cliff. While inside vehicle have helper give vehicle solid shove to start down hill. At speed attempt to engage engine. Should that fail, attempt to engage brakes. Should both fail you will not need to worry about

I push started cars before, using an old tire tied off in the trunk so it hangs over the rear bumper. As long as the bumper height of the vehicles is within a few inches, this works good. If you don't trust the brakes at all, tie a sling or rope from the pusher to the pushee. On 11/19/05, Luther
