He also is driving a TD which is heavier and dives a good deal more on
braking. I recommend swapping to the 1st gen SD setup, the vented rotors
will keep things cooler. Calipers and rotors are a direct bolt on. 2nd
gen will work fine as well but then you need 15 or larger wheels.

what pads you using? how many miles is it taking to glaze?
could indicate a problem with the brake system somewhere, like calipers of
master cylinder
could also be you drive it like a race car.

The standard Mercedes rotors
I would looking into a softer brake pad to reduce heat and wear on disc.
