I had an 83 and an 85 (coupe and wagons) but not an 84 so am partially
informed as to your issues.
When did you last service the transmission? Is it original with the car?
Mileage? If a lot of fluid leaked out, the transmission may already be
damaged. What are they quoting you to flush,
I would expect the majority of folks on this forum to suggest:
1.Do not get it flushed.
2.Change the filter and fluid and use M1 ATF.
3.With any luck at all the M1 will improve the quality of the seals
and it won't leak.
