I spent a week in Silver City, NM once...up on a mountain. (Gila National

humidity. Then I overheard a woman complaining about the high humidity,
which was 8%. I could not believe my ears. Yes, she was

Silver City is in the Gila Mountains. Very beautiful area...and relitively
unknown by the outside world until a few years ago.
Now land prices there are crazy.
There are several ruins in that area. All very interesting.
Don't
There's some pretty good cliff dwellings and a river at Canyon de
Chelly, south of Monument Valley. Don't recall any riverside camping
anywhere near Mesa Verde.

Only 101? It's 107 here.
I know it's even hotter in AZ I'm not complaining, just stating
the temp so Kaleb doesn't feel so bad.
Imagine it being 101
outside, unhooking the fuel lines from under the car, and having your
arms and back covered with gasoline. That burns. Had to come in
well I got the tank back in, put a couple of gallons of fuel in and
fired her up. Then discovered the return line to the tank(the rubber
part) is spewing fuel out. I knew I should have replaced that thing
while i had it apart. So guess tomorrow going to have to unhook that
and loose more
116 on the way home today

I remember the day I picked up my old 300CD. Laying on burning hot
gravel trying to disconnect the driveshaft so I could dolly the car
home... the thermometer in the truck indicated about 105. Not fun.
