The official stuff is only $7/liter at the stealer. That’s what I use in everything. -D > On Aug 24, 2017, at 7:01 PM, OK Don via Mercedes > wrote: > > Did anyone ever answer your first question? I bought the official MB stuff > for the 2001 ML320 - seems it was what

Did anyone ever answer your first question? I bought the official MB stuff for the 2001 ML320 - seems it was what was recommended, though I don't remember where. On Wed, Aug 23, 2017 at 9:17 PM, Mitch Haley via Mercedes < mercedes@okiebenz.com> wrote: > What power steering fluid does a 2003 W163

I wonder if I get the parts from one of those from the junk yard will I be able to make it work on my 300TD. I'll have to look into that. MG Mitch Haley via Mercedes wrote: My S420 has both SLS and self leveling headlamps. It's interesting to watch the light show on the garage door when I

My S420 has both SLS and self leveling headlamps. It's interesting to watch the light show on the garage door when I turn the lights on and they flip down then level. Mitch. > On August 24, 2017 at 12:52 PM MG via Mercedes wrote: > If it's just a dolly it might not

If it's just a dolly it might not affect the lights that much. I wish they had those auto align setups here like they are required to have in Europe when a trailer hitch is put on. MG Mitch Haley via Mercedes wrote: On August 24, 2017 at 12:06 PM MG via Mercedes

A dolly shouldn't put much tongue weight on. The problem with most people is they don't know how to load a trailer and either put on no tongue weight and get a trailer that wags or way too much and their headlights point at the sky. This latter one is exacerbated when combined with a leveling

Fluid level, engine off, cold morning, was just on the tip of the dipstick. So I overfilled it, started the car, and the steering works fine. Instead of heading off for Cleveland I'll drive it around locally this AM and see if anything bad happens. Crazy dog started going nuts when I folded

Haven't even taken the engine cover off. It's dark here, I just went out for a test drive before I went to bed, mainly to check headlight aim (too low), and the steering wasn't working right. I did a little Google-Fu and found out that the reservoir and the O-ring seal to the pump are a known

Did you look in the reservoir while running? The fluid should be fairly calm and quiet looking not bubbly and frothy. If it's bubbly, the screen (?) has failed and the pump essential cavitates occasionally from sucking in the air/frothy oil. That was my experience on my w211. Bob R Sent from
