Hello,
A friend of mine has screwed up headlights on his 1987 W124. The left side needs
the bezel (plastic fog light lens) and the right side needs the glass headlight
lens/globe assembly. Probably easier to just get two whole used headlights, or
at least a right (passenger) side since that one

It *might* be possible to repair some cracks in the original 14 heads,

there were no fewer than 5 revised castings introduced, the latest of

The history of repairing those heads is VERY poor. I know of a few that

From what I understand, head repairs are never guaranteed by shops to start
with, and you would need a really good shop to properly work on any diesel

Anyone know a size for the SMALL screw that serves as a cam adjusting
screw inside the heat-activated choke on the dual Zenith's on my '72 250C?
I have rebuilt them, and the rear one did not have a screw that catches
against the cam on the lever arm inside the spring activated choke
Why not call Rusty or order it from a dealer?? Sometimes the obvious
route is the best one to take.
Mercedes is not Ford. You can probably get this screw easily!

Anybody have any ideas? Is this likely a bent

Joe, I had a 1970 280s with the dual zeniths and only one of the carbs had the
choke adjustment screw your mention. I think that's because the screw sets the
fast idle speed by riding the cam. Choke operation is independent of the screw.
