Dumb question: Are you sure the gauge is correct? Diesel sludge

MOST slow shutoff is caused by leaky vacuum connections - NOT a bad
shutoff
You could put in an oil pressure switch, but again, that's adding to the
complication factor...

Actually, on second look I'd probably have only saved $5-6. I'd have bought
