I finally order the correct O-ring for my leaking suspension pump on the
1991 560SEL. I took some pictures and wrote a how to that I have sent to
Kaleb such that he can post it somewhere.
Note I called a couple of different Mercedes experts and none of them knew
anything about the hidden

It's an assembled unit (not made by a major
manufacturer) consisting of a Wisconsin VD4D (I think)
diesel engine and an unknown alternator.
Wisconsin engines are pretty bulletproof, so it's
probably a good deal for someone if they can get it on
the cheap. Probably no larger than 10-12kW, based

Speaking of selling cars - do you ever sell cars at local auctions? We
have a auction 2x a week not far from here - there's others in the area
also - but this one is open to the public and I expect a lot of local used
car dealers buy cars there.

I ran my car with clean deisel and then ran with an added deisel injection
cleaner. It still is smoking very heavy (white/grey thick smoke) and idling
very rough. There are no fuel leaks and the camshaft timing is good. I don't
have a vac guage to check the vac pump but I do feel suction with
