that directly correlates with engine not shutting down with key - thank
goodness for the kill switch.
Is there a wire or relay that is the culprit?

Likely knocked a vacuum line/tube loose; check thoroughly under the hood for
a disconnected one; reconnect it.

Any drive with a standard interface should work just fine. Might
need to get a SCSI card if you have a SCSI zip, though. Don't wait
too long, eventually the disks will die.

Removed intake manifold this morning; have replaced coolant temp. sensor for
gauge and 2 glow plugs thus far; 'taking lunch break and wait for shade to
return late this afternoon to finish. BTW, one old glow plug is ruptured.

I've used Carbonite for the last couple years with no complaints ... but
than I haven't needed to restore lost files from carbonite (although it did
work when I tested it on a couple files once). Keep in mind that Carbonite
just backs up your files, not your system and applications.
