Applications can run from anywhere, so not putting them in the Applications folder is fine until you need access to them from a different user. Only apps in the proper folder show up for other users unless you search for them. Glad you got it fixed -- I find the Mac so much nicer to use

I think I will drop the bottom cover and take a look and see what I can see. I just don't see how they ran it on anything but propane. I plan on getting one of those 100lb cylinders and running it off that and just take it down and refill as needed. If it was converted it was not done properly
