I can't speak for the east, but between the rockies and the

fall. The salt of choice has gone from rock salt to liquid brine.
They will put the brine on the roads before it snows. As the winter

I've always reused the axle nut on vw and MB. There is always a way to
crush it into the slot in a new place. Never lost one. Nobody (FLAPS
or STEALER) ever stocks the nut. A third or 4th use might be getting a
little sketchy, but a second use, I don't fear.

In MA the trucks generally can do both brine and salt, brine before the storm,
rock salt after, usually mixed with some sand. We've got hills, this is a
requirement or nothing would ever move around. The salt kills some of the grass
on the edge of the road but that's about it.

In RI they salt. As Curt said sometimes, brine before the storm. Then either
salt or salt & sand I used to live near the Cargill salt mine in Lansing
NY. Jillions of tons of road salt out of there every year.

Yes, the M104 is a much better version of the M103 for sure, and probably as
good as the M112.
The balance shaft issues were on a later V6 version, number I’m not sure of.

I thought it was a Kei car (2/3 liter) but the BAT listing says it's a full
liter and it looks bigger than a Kei.
Most of the Kei drooling seems to be over the cool 90s cars that are now 25
years old, Mazda AZ-1, Honda Beat, and Suzuki Cappachino.
Just wait until we can import a Honda S660.
most M103 would go 200k, but by then they were ready to have a head
gasket, but still running.
M104s seemed to go beyond 200k
What was the engine with the balance shaft issue? I thought that was
the v6. M112?
