Yeah those console switches are not sealed AFAIK and are prone to gunking up with soda, coffee, etc. The German designers never imagined someone would be drinking and eating while driving. There is so much that could happen with the OM 642 Bluetec engines and the problems caused by the emissions system. Some problems include too much fuel in the oil due to interrupting the regeneration cycle for the DPF, inefficient combustion and soot buildup in the oil due to the EGR, and in some extreme cases leading to timing chain where and extreme oil consumption before 80K miles if not properly maintained. all of the stuff that I’ve read is starting to make me consider selling my sprinter and getting one that’s gas powered. However, I don’t think I would be too happy with a small four-cylinder engine pulling that big van around. I've gathered that the most likely problem is that the 2nd gear clutches have worn out and the filter is clogged with clutch friction material. Symptoms match what I'm experiencing and is common failure with Hondas. Tear down, new clutches, new seals, new filter, clean the valve body, looks meticulous but not impossible. I was browsing a recipe website a couple days ago and my screen froze. I powered off but when I restarted it never got through the booting process. On several occasions it made it halfway through and then ended up with a white screen. I fiddled around with the keyboard and eventually was able to open up one more time. I should not have closed it out again, because now it is permanently disabled. I have a wireless keyboard. I believe this is a 2011 iMac which otherwise has been very dependable. I think I caught a virus. My vote is for a short in the wiring - it seems the most likely cause for the window going down uncommanded. It's probably where the wires enter the door at the hinge area or where they pass through a grommet that has deteriorated over the years.
