I'm running a variable frequency drive to power an old 3 phase compressor I
got for next to nothing. Pretty cool device. Not only does it output 3
phase power, but you can completely configure it. For example, you can
ramp up with frequency on startup or shutdown for smoother starts, or run
it

Yup, I just did a "no license required" search and all the SC cars
disappeared.
Some of the NC salvage cars remained, but all of them had front damage
that was obvious in the thumbnail pic.

I came to the conclusion that these yards are mostly dealing with shops and/or
walk-ins and they don't see it as worth their time to respond to an
individual/DIY inquiry from the internet. I kind of get that, but it's
frustrating when you're seriously looking for a part.

I wanted the right side mirror for my W115 300D and got one for a
reasonable price shipped to me from a yard in Georgia if my memory
serves to be correct.
It came carefully packaged and was in perfect condition.

I know you have the big Dodge. Do you have a car hauler trailer?
Can you borrow one? Might be better to go prepared to drag it home on

That's the problem.
Pretty common source of failure on these engines/cars and fortunately an
easy/cheap one to fix. Sorry you had a failure while on the road, especially in
inclement weather. That’s never fun, but at least you weren’t stranded out in
the Styx somewhere.
For what it’s worth, this is a maintenance

The 05E320 wagon munched the tensioner pulley the day after I got it,
late at night. Had to call a friend to come collect me, I was about
100yd from another friend's farm so pulled into a field and left it
there. I should have dealt with it as I heard it screaming on the way
home from Hilton
