I had a flat on a tire on the CL500 last week. Pulled it off and found a deck
screw in it. Dropped it off Friday at this independent tire shop I had used
before to get plugged and patched. The Firestone store close by won’t do
repairs because liability or something.
The kid at the desk was a
I've had good luck (well, I've done it once with good results) just using the
plug kits you get at FLAPS. As long as the screw/nail is in the main tread area
and not close to or in the sidewall, you just ream out the hole with the
provided tool and push the plug in.
That doesn't get you a
Cypress green. Truly droolworthy color.

That’s in Land Between the Lakes park. Gotta be some kind of SCAMER
I used to go there a lot when I was a kid even before they dammed up the river
to make Lake Barkley. My family are all around that area to the east.

I know most of you folks are not big fans of BMW in any event but I
thought I would share this.
There is a fellow in my building that always drove new BMW sedans. He
recently showed up with a new BMW SUV.
I saw him today and commented on his having stopped driving sedans. His
response was

Hardly a BMW issue, but a good point. I have never understood the “rubber band
tire” thing. I figured that it has a major effect on handling, especially at
higher speeds, not to mention the harsher ride.
You’ve got a big contact area, but the minute you move out of the horizontal

I ordered one more of the poos solar cameras in the 69 sale. It’s supposedly
the same model but much smaller and lighter. The mount it also totally
different which appears it might be better and solve the ED issues.

I really don't trust plugs. If I have to repair a tire, I have them put
a patch on the inside.

My brother-in-law is a chef who rescues restaurants in the chain that he
works for. He said in the South because of e-verify chefs are paid about $7
more per hour than in the northern states that don't have to be verified
for citizenship. I wonder if all employment in the South requires e-verify?

Entitlement mentality? Bosses/management being utter pricks? Both?
Regardless, large-scale problems that don't bode well for a happy society.
Also, were I to find out that my tire shop would refuse to do repairs,
Summer of 2019, we drove to Ohio and back to visit some of my wife's
family.
On our way home, we stayed over one night in Fargo ND. Walking back to
the truck after dinner, I spotted a screw in the right front tire.
Damn! I can see myself spending the next morning getting the tire
repaired
Time for a new tire repair shop?
Mine will plug, but only in the main tread area and not if the tire is at or
below 25% remaining tread depth. Which is why I have a can of vulcanizing
sealant and a bag of plugs on the shelf. Just in case I have to do it myself.

Actually it’s 2 different cameras. I guess u ordered the 220 thinking it 230
which is what the poos cameras are. This one had a black top which I assumed
was a solar panel, but these are not solar. They also do not have flood light.
So, the actual cameras are $99, still a good deal. I will be
And bad top
Convertible top needs one of the hydraulic pumps replaced therefore, the
top will not go down. This repair is 800-1000 at local repair shops.

Guessing it's been resprayed, but that's a guess.
Missing hubcaps and a few other trim bits here and there. Cracked dash,
aftermarket radio, ACC issues. Seems overpriced to me.
